The Final Countdown to Prom Has Begun

IT'S the FINAL COUNTDOWN!!!! In exactly two days, the gymnasium doors will open to transform our school into a night of neon lights, pastel tulle, and unforgettable memories for the 1986 Junior-Senior Prom.

This year’s theme, "What Lies Beneath" promises to live up to its name. This weekend we will finally get to express our true selves.

The prom committee have been putting up decorations in the auditorium all week!

The Ultimate Playlist

The Prom Committee confirmed that the DJ has secured the ultimate soundtrack for the night. Attendees will dance to chart-topping hits like Wham's "Careless Whisper" and Simple Mind's "Don't You (Forget About Me).

Fashion Trends Take Over

A quick survey of the hallways proves that students are going all out for fashion this year.

• For the Ladies: Expect a sea of vibrant colors. Major trends include puffed sleeves, big shoulder pads, and bigger hair. Aquanet sales are already skyrocketing.

• For the Guys: Double-breasted white tuxedos are the top choice to accentuate the feathered mullets. Many are pairing them with pastel bowties and cummerbunds to match their dates' dresses.

Crucial Reminders

Tickets are selling fast at the student store during lunch.

• Price: $20 per couple, $15 for singles.

• Deadline: Ticket sales close Tuesday. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Our student body president

has stressed that anyone attempting to spike the punch bowl will be suspended, and with this weekend being the last weekend detention, suspension will mean you don't graduate, so don't be lame. See you on the dance floor this Saturday!
